Dr. Urvashi Singh is a highly experienced ENT surgeon with over 10 years of clinical expertise. Known for her calm, clear decision-making even in high-pressure surgical settings, she brings a strong focus on ear conditions, sinus surgery, voice disorders, and balance issues. Her core mission has always been to combine advanced surgical skills with compassionate, patient-first care.
She has received specialized training in vertigo and balance disorders, completing a fellowship at Yenepoya Medical College under the guidance of Dr. Srinivas Dorsala. In recognition of her capabilities in advanced sinus surgery, Dr. Singh was awarded the prestigious European Rhinologic Society Fellowship in Amsterdam in 2020. Although the pandemic interrupted the program, she remains committed to staying at the forefront of new developments in ENT care.
Dr. Singh also has deep expertise in voice and swallowing disorders. During her time at Sri Ramachandra Medical College in Porur, she played a leading role in managing the Speech & Swallowing Clinic for six years. There, she worked in close coordination with a multidisciplinary team of speech therapists, physiotherapists, and neurologists to offer personalized treatment for patients experiencing voice difficulties, swallowing issues, or post-stroke complications.
Her academic contributions are equally noteworthy. Dr. Singh’s work has been published in leading medical journals in both India and abroad. Some of her recent research includes studies on the outcomes of laser versus coblation tonsillectomy in children, rare presentations of conditions like necrotizing sialometaplasia and Riga-Fede disease, and investigations into post-thyroid surgery calcium levels as well as patient perspectives on minor ENT procedures.
She regularly shares her clinical knowledge at medical conferences, delivering presentations on topics such as malignant ear infections and post-stroke swallowing disorders. In addition to public speaking, she also serves as an invited reviewer for reputable medical journals and contributes to medical textbooks focused on ENT and pediatric care.
Dr. Singh is an active member of several professional societies, including the Association of Otolaryngologists of India, the All India Rhinology Society, and the European Rhinologic Society. Her professional affiliations reflect her dedication to continuous learning and staying engaged with the latest advancements in the field.
